Bank of Baroda (BOB), an Indian State Owned International Banking Services bank, had held the written exam from 15/02/2017 to 28/02/2017. The posts were Sweeper-cum-peon. After the result, the selected candidates shall get recruitment at as many as Twelve Zones. Therefore, we have mentioned all these zones along with Result- cum -Merit List link ahead.
Result Update 21st March – Though there is no official notification regarding the Peon cum Sweeper Result, the confirmed sources say that it may be out after 25th of March.
There were total Nine Hundred and Forty Eight Posts. The recruitment had ended in Dec 2016/ Jan 2017. The posts were zone-wise. The persons having 10th pass or equivalent certificates could have applied for the posts. For the selection, the concerned authority had recommended Online Test. So those who shall be able to get included in the Merit List can hope for the final selection.
BOB Sweeper-cum-Peon Exam Pattern –
The exam tested the knowledge of the candidates in five spheres. They are Knowledge of Local Language, English Language, General Awareness with much input from Banks, Numerical Ability and Psychometric Test. The last one is the new entrant in such of exams. The complete test was of One Hundred Marks with the candidates should get only 40 Marks to qualify the test. The time limit was maximum 120 Minutes.

It was the only Paper and also the Online Test. Moreover, it was the Qualifying Test. The final merit shall be prepared by taking into consideration other factors as well.

Peon-cum-sweeper Online Test Analysis –
The test strictly followed the prescribed syllabus and pattern. English and Local Language contained the topics like Blanks, Cloze Test, Vocabulary, Error Finding, Comprehension and other topics of Grammar. General Awareness had the topics like History of India, Literature, Sports, Politics, Banking Sectors etc.
The arithmetic tested the candidates’ ingenuity via LCM, HCF, Simple Interest, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Discount et al.
Psychometric Test check the mental level of the candidates through Verbal, Numerical and Non-verbal Skills. This is the new name of Reasoning Ability.
