Central Teachers’ Eligibility Test ( CTET ) is held twice a year by CBSE to make the would-be teachers eligible for the Govt Jobs in the schools in the Central Schools such as run by CBSE, Schools under Kendriya Vidyalyas ( KVS ), Navodaya Vidyalyas etc.
The CTET carrying candidates are eligible to enter the workforce as TGTs and Primary Teachers. Without it there is no chance of getting entry to any the schools under these organizations.
CTET is held for 1st to 5th classes and 6th to 8th classes. There is the difference of syllabus in these two categories’ exams. There are the following subjects which are tested in this test – English, Hindi, Pedagogy and Child Psychology and General Knowledge.
