Dental and Medial Admission Test ( DMAT ) is compulsory for taking admissions to various Medical UG courses such as BDS, B.Sc, BPT, BOT and so on. The admission depends upon the merit list which includes entrance exam performance. MP Vyapam holds this exam every year.
Eligibility for taking DMAT 2018-2019 –
- The aspirants need to have 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from MP Education Board or CBSE or any recognized board.
- Besides they must have minimum 50% marks in their Sen Secondary exam.
- However, Passing English is compulsory for becoming eligible for DMAT.
- There shall be 120 MCQs expected to be finished in 180 minutes.

Last Years’ Updates/ News regarding Madhya Pradesh DMAT
The Dental and Medical Admission Test ( DMAT ) has been cancelled owing to Technical Problems chiefly problem in the Internet System. The Exam was to be held on Sunday. There was tight security every where, in all the Examination Centres.
There were jammers to prevent copying using Electronic Devices. This was the Online Test. The candidates had appeared in the examination Centres for the Entrance Test. The exam began but couldn’t be finished due to Technical Problems. As per the official reports, the Server was down due to which the students couldn’t proceed with their exam.
The examinees complained that despite the click on the selected questions, the mouse couldn’t move further leading to their anxiety. When there were more complaints of such type, the authorities took the decision to cancel it.
There is the allegation against the Exam conducting authority. It didn’t follow the High Court’s Guidelines. As per the guidelines from the High court, the students were to be given the seats with Computer of their choice, but here they were made to sit as per the pre-planned arrangements. Pens and Pencils were not provided in the examination centre. There were other problems as well.
The experts say that the career of future must not be affected due to this cancellation. It is believed that the DMAT 2015 shall be re-scheduled very soon.
