India Post has recently advertised around 11,000 GDS posts State & Circle Wise. For Haryana also, there were Four Hundred and Thirty Eight ( 438 ) Posts. The Registration had begun in April and ended in May 2017.
Latest News – Indian Postal Dept has extended the date for applying for Gramin Dak Sevak Posts. So more candidates who are interested can apply for these posts. Besides Haryana, other states whose applying dates have been extended are Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra etc. The dates are –
14th August 2017 to 19th of August 2017
It means the candidates who have applied shall be able to check their GDS Result for Haryana Circle after this date. Therefore, the Merit List may be out in September 2017.

Seeing the response of the candidates, the filing the online application forms for GDS posts for Haryana was extended to 20th of May 2017.
Procedure for Selection of Gramin Dak Sevaks ( GDS) – Method of Preparation of Merit List/ Result
There is no provision of the written test for the final selection. As per the notification, 10th class shall be the base for the selection of the candidates. If two candidates happen to claim same marks in their 10th class, the marks of the higher qualification may be considered for making merit list.
Expected cut Off for India Post Haryana Dak Sevaks –
The Cut off shall be available as per state/circle wise. The state which shall have more candidates as comparison to the posts shall have higher cut off. As per our expectation, there may be around one lac candidates who have applied for the posts.
The picture in this regard shall be clear after sometime. As for expected cut off related with Haryana Circle, the candidates will have to wait a bit.

Hi sir…i got 455/500 (91%)…or…540/600 (90%) from hbse board in 2012 i hv applied for both punjab and haryana.my question is which marks will be taken into consideration(five sub marks or six sub marks) for merit.
I think, marks of six subjects will be considered while preparing the merit list.
same with me i hav 91% in 5 subjects and 89.5 with six subjects in hbse 2010.. but they will use six subjects… it should not be because cbse vlo k saath aisa kuch nhi hai
why dont they use 12th marks i hav 95%

It is too early to say about cut off now. Yeah, there is the possibility of its being out in July 2017.
