HP TGT Result 2018 – HPSSSB Arts, Science Cut Off, Merit List

The Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission ( HPSSSB) had advertised for 2944 Posts of TGT Teachers against the advt no. 33-2/2017 in 2017. There were other posts as well besides the teaching jobs. These were – Female Health Workers etc. The process to filling the applications had finished in October 2017.

The Written Exam took place on 12-05-2018 on different dates, different centres, different schedule. No doubt, the candidates took the test in good spirit as there is no news of using wrong means anywhere. So the Recruitment test was quite successful. Like other tests it was the Objective Type Test. There were 120 Multiple Choice Questions with options. The Questions were chiefly from the concerned subjects. Besides there were a few questions from the General Knowledge and other general subjects such as Arithmetic, Reasoning etc. However, the main focus was on the specific subjects.

There was no negative marking to add the stress on the examinees. The candidates who would secure the better marks and ensure themselves in the  merit list shall face the next step – Interview. It shall be of 30 Marks.

Expected cut Off For TGT Medical ( Previous Year’s )-

General Candidates – 70 to 75 ( Lowest)

OBC – 65 to 70

SC – 60 to 65

Expected Cut off for TGT Non-Medical –

General Candidates – 72 to 77

OBC – 66 to 71

SC – 61 to 66

Expected Cut off for TGT Arts

General Candidates – 68 to 73

OBC – 63 to 68

SC – 60 to 65

Note – This is just the expected cut off depending on our speculation. The actual cut off may be somewhat higher or lower.
