Independence Day ( 15th of August 1947 )

India got her Independence on 15th of August 1947. The English when left India, they divided the country into two parts that is India and Pakistan on religious basis. It was the part of their conspiracy. For the freedom of the country, a number of known and unknown patriots sacrificed their lives. Known martyrs are Subhash Chandra Bose, Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh etc. There were many unknown martyrs. This is the tradition of the country that on this auspicious day, the Prime Minister of the country deleivered his/ her speech on the rampant of the Red Fort since our Independence.

This time there is the regime of the Bhartiya Janta Party ( BJP ) and our Prime Minister is Sh. Narendra Modi.  The party is celebrating our Independence Day as Amrit Mahotsav all over the country. Under his leadership, the country is developing a lot.

When the PM reaches the Red Fort, he/ she gets the salutation of 21 cannons. A large number of VVIPs, VIPs, students, common people etc. are eager to show their presence on this monumental day. There are some programs on the Independence Day eveywhere in the country. The program ends with National Anthem.
