Exam Analysis – The exam strictly followed the syllabus / pattern by UP Technical Education Board. There were two sections of the exam – Section 1 and Section 2. The Section One carried Physics and Chemistry questions ( 25 Questions each)  generally from 10th to 12th classes. Section 2 had Math only with 50 questions. The level of the exam overall good.

The Admission to UP Polytechnic related colleges is decided on the basis of Merit List prepared keeping in view the Result Cut off list/ Category-wise and Reservation-wise vacant seats. So the Merit List and Cut off marks are very important for the students.

1. Expected Cut off for General Category Candidates – Around 77%

JEECUP Result Update – The Result for Admissions to Diploma in Polytechnic Colleges can be checked in May 2017. The news is shared by the Secretary of Joint Entrance exam Council Mr FR Khan.

JEECUP is under the aegis of AICTE New Delhi the sole job of which is ensure the fair selection of the students of UP for various Diplomas in Polytechnic College in UP. There are millions of students who wish to pursue their career in Technical Courses – diploma level and degree level.

This is a three year diploma in various trades. The students can also pursue their degree after this diploma. So UP Technical Education Department is engaged in promoting the Technical Education in the state.

Every year Applications are invited for UP JEE Polytechnic Diploma. So all the candidates who have passed 10th class from UP Education Board or any of the boards. After collecting the applications, the Council initiates the second step and that is the scrutinizing of the applications.

After this the Admit cards are uploaded for UP JEE and then the exam takes place. A large no of centres are made for the smooth running of the exam. There is the Objective Type Exam and it contains Questions from the syllabus of 10th Class as is prescribed by JEECUP.
