The Process of inviting online Process has begun on 26th of Sept 2016. The conclusion date for the Applying Process is 17th of October 2016. Maharashtra Govt had issued notice in June 2014 regarding Recruitment in the department. The Posts are divided as per the reservation which you can check from the link ahead. The aspirants having 12th class with Science or Maths or Geography or Economics can apply for the posts.
Maharashtra Forest Guard Selection Process –
The applicants for the posts shall have to undergo the Written Test and Physical Standard Test. The Syllabus for the said process shall be available at the official website. The final merit list shall be out considering Eligibility Educational Qualification, Test and Physical standard test.

The Physical Standard Test shall measure the height and chest of the candidates. To check the Physical Efficiency, there shall be race or other such movements.
Note : – The Women shall be exempted from Chest measurement for Forest Guard Recruitment.
Those who shall pass the Physical Standard Test shall face the Medical Test and Document Verification. The Selected Candidates shall get the salary in the following Pay Scale –
- Rs 5200 – 20,200 + Grade Pay 9700
