About Maharashtra Postal Circle Gramin Dak Sevak Recruitment 2017 –
The Recruitment Notification for the mammoth 1789 GDS Posts under India Post had come out in April against the advt no – ESTT/4-1/GDS ONLINE SELECTION/2017. The concluding date for applying was 27/05/2017.
As per the expectations, candidates in lakhs had applied for the posts. The educational qualification was just Matric. Besides they must have been computer-savvy. It requires the basic knowledge of computer.

Formation of Merit List – Process –
The aspirants don’t need to worry as the dept shall not hold any Written Test. For the final selection, the merit shall be prepared on the basis of marks up to 10th class. The board will not consider the higher education for preparing the Merit List. If there is any other criteria regarding it, we shall update it. The candidates shall be able to view their cut off marks at official website or via SMSes.
Point to Remember – The fate of two candidates sharing the same score in their Matriculation shall be decided according to their ages. Here the person having more age shall get the upper hand in the final selection. So the older shall defeat the younger as far as the GDS Merit List is concerned.
Maharashtra Postal Circle Result for GDS 2017
There were posts as per the states. Maharashtra got a major share of posts ( Seventeen Hundred and Eighty Nine). The candidates who were between 18 and 45 years could have applied. However, there was the age-relaxation for reserved categories. The General candidates and OBCs could have applied by paying Rs 100/-. For Women and other reserved categories obviously there were no charges for GDS Posts.
Now as the Application forms were filled by 27th May 2017, the aspirants are eager to check their Result.
