The Supreme Court has asked the Central Board of School Education not to disclose the AIPMT Result till 10th of June. The decision was given by a vacation Bench comprising Justices Prafulla C Pant and Amitava Roy.
The bench also directed the Haryana Police to speed up its investigation in the AIPMT leak case which had caused anxiety among the examinees. It asked the Police to find out as to how many people got benefits from the alleged leakage of the question papers.
The bench also informed that it would take a decision of the PIL by some petitioners regarding the conducting of the AIPMT afresh on the basis of the no of candidates who had bought the answer keys of the said exam by paying Rs 15-20 lakh each.
Haryana Police also apprised the Apex Court of the improvement going on in the case. It informed that the alleged kingpin in this case Roop Singh Dangi is still out of reach of the police.
But so far the police have arrested 12 persons allegedly involved in the case. Some revelation that they were also the part in the tampering of the AIPMT last year also came out and due to that some candidates got admission to some of the prestigious medical colleges last year.
The Supreme Court bench also made it clear that it was not in a hurry to make any judgement regarding the Re-test as it would take one more week before it take its decision but before that it would wait for the complete probe going on in the case.

Shrikant Jadhav , IGP, Rohtak range has informed the journalists that the Haryana Police have made written communication to 60 Superintendent of Police posted in 10 states across the country seeking their response regarding the racket which seems to have its roots in some the following states – Karnataka, AP and Jharkhand. He also said that this leak case may have link with UP. The police are exploring all the possibilities.
