The Punjab and Haryana High Court has put a full stop on giving govt jobs in Haryana on economic base. This decision will apply to the current recruitment process. High court has already put a ban on the admission in the state.
Now the candidates will not be able to get benefits in getting govt jobs after this decision of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
The petitioners were for this case were Sunil and others. They had challenged the Recruitment Process for six thousand clerks on the basis of economic ground. There was the process of giving 10% reservation.
The advocate had pleaded that there was the provision of economic ground in govt educational institutions and govt jobs. The advocates said that Gujarat high Court had cancelled this reservation and submitted the copy of the same in the Supreme Court of India.
The advocates had also submitted this copy in the High Court. After seeing all details regarding the previous case, the Punjab and Haryana High Court had put a ban on the notification that said 10% reservation in the ongoing Clerk Recruitment Process.
No Reservation on Economic Background – High Court
The candidates from the General Castes were getting benefits under this reservation policy. The High Court had already put a ban on the admission in the admission process in the state.
Candidates below economy lines were expecting much benefits on the basis of this basis. This decision of High Court has given a big jolt to these candidates. According to them this 10% reservation was the great relief for them against the prevailing reservation system.
No doubt, the candidates will be disappointed after this decision. However, it will clear the way for the recruitment process of the Clerk Posts. Now it shall be interesting to see what the candidates from the general candidates do in this regard.
