Golden Jubilee Haryana Day Celebration in My School
A Report
Our school proudly celebrated Haryana Day on its 50th anniversary on 1st of Nov. 2016. The SDM of the city had to be the chief guest of the function. The teachers and the students had prepared many cultural items for the day. The Chief Guest arrived in time.
The Principal welcomed her and took her to the Function venue. The stage was decorated with Flags written Haryana on them. The chief guest lit the ceremonial lamp and function started with Welcome Song. Then the children presented Cultural Programmes.
Cultural Programmes included Haryanvi Songs. Haryanvi Dances and Haryanvi Skits. Everybody enjoyed them with big rounds of applause. Some people also cracked Haryanvi Jokes and forced the people to laugh.
After that, our Principal spoke on the occasion. She told the audiences that since its inception, Haryana had made progress by leaps and bounds. She said that she felt proud to be a Haryanvi. Then she invited the Chief Guest to address the gathering.
The SDM also praised the state and its people for tremendous progress in every field. She also urged the people to take pledge to make the state No 1 state of the Country and promote its culture and tradition. Then with that note, the Golden Jubilee Celebration Programme ended in our school.
