For the welfare of the students, the Uttar Pradesh Govt has initiated a no of scholarships. These scholarships cater to the economic requirements of the students doing various courses. The Scholarship Dept shall invite applications for 2017-2018 very soon.
The students pursuing 9th/10th/11th/12th/ Graduation/ PG Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree Courses can apply for these scholarships. However, there are some conditions for applying for UP Scholarships Schemes.
Objective of Providing Scholarships by UP Govt
The beneficial of the schemes should either be under poverty line or belonging to economic backward class. Even the students can get such scholarships on the basis of the merits. There is Dashmotar Scholarship (दशमोत्तर छात्रवृति ) for post/pre matric candidates.
It is also known as Saksham ( सक्षम ) because the main objective to provide such scholarships to make youngsters able and independent. There are thousands of youngsters who can’t carry on their studies owing to financial crisis. Such poor but intelligent students are the target of these Uttar Pradesh Govt Educational Scholarships.
For this Scholarship and Fee Reimbursement Online System, a huge no of students who are studying in UP or studying outside the state apply. These applicants can check their Online Application Status from ahead.

Dashmotar and Fee Reimbursement Online System Status
2016-17 UP Dashmotar Scholarship (दशमोत्तर छात्रवृति ) Admissions/ Scholarships complete Data / Important Links/ Status/Online Application/ Result
- Total colleges for post-matric courses are 16,510 for which there were 2,47, 8001 registrations. Out of total 1,80,5363, total 1590074 forms finally submitted. And 13,38,0770 applications were forwarded by the institutions for Fee Reimbursement.
- Whereas Post-matric institutes are 11,263. 6444226 students registered themselves for admission. Total applications students filled were 4776443 and 4350625 were final applications. And out of them 3823460 cases the institutions forwarded for Dashmotor Scholarship and Fee Reimbursement.
- For 9th and 10th classes ( Pre-Matric), out of total 1460911 total applications, 1256042 had applied for the said scholarship.
- In a way, 6460272 cases came to the govt for this scholarship.
Important Dates for UP Scholarship 2017-18
For all the categories, the Scholarship application may come out in July 2017. The candidates shall get more than two months for applying online. So this is the time of Admission to various classes/ courses when Online Scholarship System Opens. The last date for submission of Online Form is September end or October mid.
The aspirants also get the opportunity for Correction or Edit. Therefore correcting/ editing of the application form takes place most probably in December. So for latest information, you will have to wait as Notification shall come out soon.
Eligibility for Uttar Pradesh Various Post/Pre Scholarships / Dashmotar Scholarship ( दशमोत्तर छात्रवृति)
- The candidates belonging to General/ SC/ST/ OBC from UP are eligible to apply for Scholarships.
- For 9th and 10th Classes ( Pre-matric) – The candidates must be in the classes for which they need financial help.
- Post Matric Scholarship Eligibility – They must have enrollment in 9th or 10th classes for availing scholarships.
- Dashmottar Scholarship and Fee Reimbursement ( दशमोत्तर छात्रवृति व् शुल्क प्रतिपूर्ति ) – Enrollment in the college/university / institute recognized by UP Govt.

I think you will have to submit the affidavit with the Income Proof Certificate. The Photostat shops owners who do the work of submitting online application forms can tell you better.
