West Bengal SSC unleashes the Result of Group D Recruitment Exam held on 20th May 2017 the links of which are available ahead. Besides it the candidates can expect high Merit List or Cut Off owing to overwhelming no of examinees.
23rd Sept 2017 Update – The Result is out. Immediately check it right now. The Interview for these posts shall take place from 16th of October 2017.
This astonishing no is 25 lac ( 2.5 million) for 6,000 Group D Posts. In addition to the exam holding state, around 5.5 lac candidates had appeared from the neighboring states like Bihar and Jharkhand.
About WB Group D 22/05/2017 Exam –
There was the huge rush at all the examination centres. It took longer to manage such a big crowd of examinees. Even at some places, the news of traffic jams also reached. But on the whole the paper ended successfully.
It contained total 85 Questions of 85 Marks. Of course, it was in Objective Type Mode. The subjects that formed the paper are – General Studies, Language Knowledge Test out of Bengali, Nepali, Hindi and Urdu and Math. Check the division of the Marks as per questions/ subjects.

It is worth-mentioning that the West Bengal govt has conducted this Group D Exam after a long gap. The Previous Group D Recruitment Test had taken place during the previous regime. This time the recruitment had come out in Jan 2017. It took at at least one month to complete the process. After that WBSSC made sure that it might take place on the said date.
